Dust

By Damiano Carretta

A rough in the air

Hard to touch laid dead across

All surface discarded.

Bear painful scented wind

Scratchings of time tilted by eons

Rich in all substance.

To link place with time

Smell burdened by memory

Free in emotions.

Dust every form

Born to existence widened

Rumination deep.

Remember times past

Dark descends breathe memories

Memories of dust.
