“All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.”
– Bill Hicks
The imagintion is a product of the mind, and everything that is created is born of the vibrations that we are all a part of. All the colours, shapes and sizes that we fit into and use to box up ideas are part of the mind.
If you don’t like the colour red, it’s probably because that fire truck you wanted for Christmas in ‘96 never turned up under the tree. There is resentment there. Or perhaps desire. Either way, your subconscious has imprinted an emotion onto a memory. And all the elements of that memory are both independent and connected.
So when you walk into a shop and they ask you whether you’d like to buy the blue dress or the red dress, guess what? They are you. That split second where intuition lives, which exists before analysis kicks in, the memory of the fire truck will squeeze it’s way into your consciousness together with a thousand others.
When you choose to go for the blues dress because you imagine yourself wearing it at Kristina’s birthday party on Saturday, this decision is, however marginally, related to a traumatic childhood experience.
Because it is all a dream. And it is ours to construct as we wish.
