I.
The cloud lies in your palm
While you roll it, stroke it.
It seems to like your touch
So much so that it grasps you back
Like a newborn.
II.
Until you share, or try.
You look into its eyes one last time,
Unknowing.
And no sooner do you loosen your grip
–it’s gone.
