If We Find Compassion

By Niklas Stephenson

“The very design of neoliberal principles is a direct attack on democracy.”

– Noam Chomsky

The market rules. The rich and their corporations own everything. Their propaganda machines of consumption and false illusion of freedom within an unhinged free market make us easily subjugated subjects to the accumulaltion of their capital. It is freedom after all.

But we are nothing more than subjects. We are not humans of reason, but humans dependent on the inevitability of the free market and it’s growth. We are not humans capable of our own thought, the free markets will give it to us and we have to comply, be obedient, be well fed and satisfied and blind to what it has to offer: false love, poisoned food, false idols, etc.

We vote for pegs. All of them. We are pegs. All of us. We sacrifice for profit. We pay for their wrongdoings. We bail them out or watch families torn apart and sacrificed for the continuation of the endless greedy accumulation of profit on the foundation of democratic lies and lost human innocence and compassion.

There is compassion. There is abliity. There is an alternative.

Kings were onced believed to be the divine representatives of god and therefore untouchable just as today the free market is considered the only alternative. But there is always one.

There always has been and there will be, if we find compassion.
